The productivity hype is always about the latest apps, tips, tricks and hacks. But those are the peak of the pyramid. They are the most flashy but have the least impact.
Focus on the boring fundamentals. Getting 7-9 hours of sleep, working out, eating healthy, cutting out social media and other dopamine frying activities and pick the 3 most important things to focus on with deep work. I know I know not the most sexy advice. But the top of the productivity pyramid is usually not much more than a way to feel good about yourself without doing anything. Productivity tools are more a hobby than impactful. The people who create real impact don’t obsess about it.
